The History of Ocean Goggles |
||
The
ocean goggle is special equipment for swimming under water. Its story
begins when a person has to dive under the water. But he could not
see the beauty of the underwater world without ocean goggles. A man
began to use ocean goggles in the fourteenth century. And it was Persia
where people started using goggles. They were made of turtle shell.
Though they were imperfect for swimming, people were fond of them.
They began to devise the construction of them. Therefore, already in
1930 a famous writer Guy Gilpatrick used special glasses. These were
special glasses that protect eyes from moisture. But the most popular
ocean goggles came into world in the twentieth century in 1950. They
were not perfect and therefore only used by amateurs. And they were
made of glass. Recently such glasses have been designed to be made
of durable plastic. |
